Puddifer
Beryl obtained a B.Ed from Bristol University, UK in 1971. She then became certified as a TEFL teacher (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) and went to Turkey for two years to teach Turkish students at High School Level. After returning to England she taught English Literature in an English Comprehensive school.
In 1974 she came to Canada and worked at a College/Boarding School for British students in the Laurentians, Quebec. She became the Principal of the College in 1995. In 2000 she was awarded her M.A. in English Literature from Concordia University.
In 2004 she founded a Ski School in Mont-Tremblant for students from Britain to obtain their ski or snowboard instructors certificate during their Gap year. In 2019 she was inducted into the Ski Hall of Fame as an entrepreneur in Alpine Skiing.
She joined Rotary in 2003 and was twice President of the Mont-Tremblant Rotary Club.
